Product Advantages

  • Four detection methods in one unit: TEV, US, UHF, and HFCT support cross-verification of discharge sources.
  • TEV measurement accuracy of ±2 dB across a 0–60 dB range ensures reliable amplitude assessment.
  • Ultrasonic sensitivity down to 0.1 µV enables detection of weak acoustic emissions from partial discharges.
  • HFCT dynamic range from -20 dB to 80 dB with ±1 dB error allows precise pulse current measurement on grounding lines.
  • UHF sensitivity below -60 dBm captures high-frequency electromagnetic signals above 300 MHz, effectively avoiding low-frequency corona interference.
  • Data export via Bluetooth or USB to PC software generates inspection reports directly from recorded waveforms and images.

Main Applications

  • Switchgear partial discharge detection using TEV and airborne US sensors
  • GIS insulation assessment with contact US and UHF sensors
  • Transformer and reactor monitoring via HFCT on grounding wires
  • Power cable discharge detection using HFCT clamps
  • On-site combined acoustic-electrical diagnosis for defect type identification

FAQ

Q1: Does the Handheld Partial Discharge Tester NRJF211 support simultaneous measurement on all four channels?

A1: The instrument allows sequential selection of TEV, US, UHF, or HFCT channels. It does not support real-time simultaneous acquisition on all four channels.

Q2: What is the difference between host dimensions and packaged dimensions?

A2: The host dimensions (180×110×40 mm) refer to the handheld unit only, weighing 0.85 kg. The packaged dimensions (500×450×400 mm) and gross weight (10 kg) include the host, all sensors (TEV, US, UHF, HFCT), signal conditioning units, cables, charger, carrying case, and accessories.

Q3: Can the device operate without an external power source in the field?

A3: Yes. The instrument is powered by an internal 4800 mAh battery, providing approximately 7 hours of normal operation after a 3-hour full charge.

Q4: What is the purpose of the external synchronization function?

A4: External synchronization (via wireless transmitter) locks the measurement phase to the test power supply, ensuring stable phase-resolved pattern analysis for accurate discharge identification.
