We design and manufacture the NRD1100 cable fault tester for on-site cable fault detection. The complete set includes a host unit, a path detector, a precise locator and a high-voltage signal generator. We adopt stable circuits and reliable components in the production process.

Our NRD1100 cable fault tester is mainly used to test common faults of power cables of 35kV and below. It can detect open circuit, short circuit, low resistance, high resistance leakage and flashover faults. We adopt time-domain reflection technology to ensure stable and accurate test results. It is equipped with an 8-inch industrial color touch screen for easy operation. It supports multiple test modes such as low-voltage pulse, impulse flashover and multiple pulses. We can store, recall and compare waveforms on the tester. It supports parameter settings of different cable types and can measure cable length and wave velocity. It is equipped with a transmitter and a receiver to detect cable path and buried depth. We use sound-magnetic synchronization technology to clearly locate fault points.
