A: If the ammeter reading increases sharply, or if the test sample smokes, arcs, shows signs of burning, or makes abnormal noises, immediately reduce the voltage, disconnect the power supply, and check the cause.

Q: What should be done during DC testing?

A: During DC testing, a current-limiting resistor and a filter capacitor should be added to prevent damage to the silicon stack. Discharge should be performed using a discharge rod after the test.
