1. High-Voltage Test Transformer: For high-voltage flashover testing, a 1.5-5KW high-voltage test transformer with an output voltage of 0-70KV (DC) is used, capable of both AC and DC operation (DC function only). Note that a coil-core type transformer must be used; a thyristor-type DC high-voltage generator cannot be used.

Operating Box: The high-voltage test operating box is used in conjunction with the high-voltage test transformer. It generally needs to output AC 0-50KV and DC 0-70KV voltage, with an output power of 1.5-5KW, and have 20A overcurrent protection or the ability to disable the overcurrent protection function.

High-Voltage Pulse Capacitor: For high-voltage testing, a 20-40KV withstand voltage and 1.5-2μF capacitor is recommended for high-voltage cables. For low-voltage cable testing, a high-voltage pulse capacitor with a withstand voltage greater than 10KV and a capacitance of 6-8μF can be used.

2. Introduction to Integrated High-Voltage Pulse Test Power Supply
The integrated high-voltage pulse test power supply has a similar output voltage to the discrete type. It comes in two forms: one integrates the high-voltage test transformer and operating box, with the high-voltage pulse capacitor connected separately; the other integrates the high-voltage test transformer, operating box, and high-voltage pulse capacitor. For operational safety, the control is generally wired or remote-controlled, although direct operation is also possible.

The biggest advantage of the integrated high-voltage pulse test power supply is the reduced on-site wiring, making it simpler for users. However, its price is also higher, generally between 25,000 and 35,000 yuan, and the instrument itself is also heavier. Furthermore, with high-voltage components integrated, the failure rate is relatively higher than with discrete types, making maintenance inconvenient.

3. Introduction to Integrated Low-Voltage Pulse Test Power Supply
The integrated low-voltage pulse test power supply typically outputs 10KV DC, with a power consumption of less than 1KVA. Its main function is to act as a high-voltage pulse power supply when testing low-voltage cable faults. Some can be used as step voltage generators in cross-linked cable outer sheath fault testers, or as withstand voltage testers for cross-linked cable outer sheaths. They can also be used as high-voltage pulse test power supplies for some high-voltage cables (when the fault resistance is not high).

Integrated low-voltage pulse test power supplies, designed as dedicated power supplies, are generally priced under 20,000 yuan. The names of these instruments vary among manufacturers; users should check the instrument's technical parameters to determine if it meets their testing needs.
