Insulation Power Factor Tester
Details
The Insulation Power Factor Tester is a versatile precision testing instrument that can test the capacitance and tanδ tangent of electrical equipment. These two values can directly reflect whether the insulation performance of electrical equipment is good, and whether there are problems such as moisture, bubbles, cracks, delamination, or dirt. This effectively prevents various dangerous accidents caused by poor insulation of electrical equipment.

Application Scenarios

1.jpg

Insulation power factor testers are mostly used in electrical equipment, such as power transformers, various instrument transformers, various capacitors, cables and surge arresters, to check whether they are intact before delivery and after major repairs, and to check whether they are still in good working order during the period of use of electrical equipment. This plays a good role in preventing electrical accidents caused by poor insulation.

Features

The Insulation Power Factor has a capacitance range up to 60kΩ and a maximum output current of 200mA at 10kV.

01

The instrument has built-in series and parallel dielectric loss test models, compatible with calibration benches and dielectric loss standards, facilitating verification operations.

02

The instrument is designed to prevent misoperation with a two-stage power switch. In case of an emergency, it can quickly reduce voltage and trigger an audible and visual alarm.

03

The Insulation Power Factor's accessories use high-voltage insulated wires, eliminating the need for overhead installation and allowing for floor-mounted use.

04

The Insulation Power Factor's panel is equipped with a thermal printer, enabling on-site printing of test data with clear and noise-free display.

FAQ

Q: Are there any requirements for the testing environment? Can testing be performed in high humidity conditions?

A: High air humidity will cause the dielectric loss measurement value to increase abnormally (or decrease, or even become negative) and become unstable. A shielding ring can be added if necessary.

Q: What is the hertz frequency of the generator power supply?

A: The input frequency is unstable when powered by a generator. A fixed frequency of 50Hz can be used.

Q: How many operating modes are available?

A: There are three. After connecting the cables, please select the correct measurement operating mode (forward, reverse, and CVT). Do not select the wrong mode. Especially in interference environments, the variable frequency anti-interference mode should be selected.
